First Visit

Welcome to Today’s Dental! You’ve made a wonderful choice for your oral health, and we look forward to becoming a valuable partner in your dental care.

Our new patient experience is a little different than what you’re probably used to. First of all, when you call us to schedule an appointment, you’ll talk to a real person. No “Thank you for calling, hold please” with us. We’ll get your information and schedule a time for you to come in as soon as you’d like.

Once you come in for your visit, you’ll fill out some brief information and be settling into the examination room in no time. We’ll fully discuss your oral health and smile goals, take x-rays, and then do a cleaning if we’ve scheduled it. Next, Dr. Allport comes in to provide a full mouth exam. If any areas of concern are found, we’ll put together a plan for treatment as soon as possible and send you on your way with a new toothbrush, paste, and floss!

You can speed through registration on the day of your appointment by taking some time to fill out our new patient forms and then bringing them in with you on your first visit. We’ll need information on your health history and any dental insurance specifics to provide you with the best care.

Dental Insurance and Financing

We know receiving the dental care you need can put a strain on the budget, and Today’s Dental wants to make our superior services as affordable as possible. We are pleased to be in network with Delta Dental Premier dental insurance, one of the most popular providers of dental insurance benefits for families and individuals.

However, we will still happily file all other dental insurance claims, so you can feel free to visit Today’s Dental with your PPO plan. Simply pay the full fee at the time you receive your services, and we’ll take care of the claim to ensure you receive the full reimbursement from your dental insurance provider. You don’t have to worry about headache-inducing paperwork or navigating the complicated maze of dental insurance — that’s what we are here for. Patients who are not covered by any dental insurance plan can use their CareCredit financing at Today’s Dental.


For many people, calling a doctor’s office to schedule an appointment is constantly getting pushed to the bottom of the “to-do” list. We understand — and that’s why we use Rhinogram so you can text, Facebook message, or email us when you need us! All communication is completely encrypted for your total privacy and security. Still prefer the phone? Feel free to call. But if you’re like many people and would prefer to shoot off an email or text, go for it. We’ll answer you ASAP!
