Candy, Office Manager and Expanded Function Dental Assistant

As the wife of Dr Allport, Candy has been with Today's Dental since the beginning. She was our first Expanded function Registered Dental Assistant. She received her RDA at Chattanooga State then continued on to receive her EFRDA through the University of Tennessee Health and Science in Memphis. Not stopping there she now serves as Today's Dental Office Manager. Being from Dayton, Candy enjoys getting to serve her local community by helping them understand the importance of oral health and how it effects their overall health and life. Her and Dr Allport have 3 children and enjoy playing Pickleball and Tennis.

Stacey, Insurance/Treatment Coordinator

Stacey joined the Today’s Dental team February 14, 2022. A real dream come true for her at the most perfect time. She comes to us with years of dental knowledge, especially with insurance. If you have insurance questions, she is definitely the one to ask and if she doesn’t know the answer, she will find it.

She grew up in Chattanooga where she raised two amazing daughters, Kaley and Kelsey. She and her husband, John, moved to Dayton in February 2009 and made this community their home.

She and her husband are active at Walden’s Ridge Baptist Church.

During her time away from work, she enjoys being with and helping out family members, spending time with friends, and being “Lolli” to her precious grandchildren that light up her world.

Natalia, New Patient Coordinator

Natalie started as our Scheduling Coordinator in April 2024. She is the face of the office when you walk in. She was born in Mexico and moved to Dayton, TN in 2000. She graduated from Rhea County High School in 2010, but didn't stop there. She continued her education in aesthetics, but decided in 2023 to join our dental team. She has been a wonderful asset to us as she is trilingual, speaking English, Spanish and Mixteco.

Outside of work, she enjoys her time with her 2 amazing sons, her family, outdoor activities including running and playing pickleball.

Shemaya, Registered Dental Hygiene

Shemaya graduated from Chattanooga State Technical College in 1991 with her Associates of Applied Science in Dental Hygiene. She is certified to administer local anesthetic and nitrous oxide (laughing gas). She is passionate about helping her patients with their oral health care and creating a relaxed and productive hygiene appointment.

Born in the Philippines she proudly took the Naturalization Oath of Allegiance to the United States of American in 1989. She stands during the nation anthem and salutes the flag in honor of the people who served and died to give her the freedom she enjoys. She has 3 children and is a grandparent. Shemaya enjoys home life and spending as much time with her family as she can. She is dedicated to the Lord and is active member of First Baptist Church of Dayton.

Mary, Registered Dental Hygienist

Mary graduated from Chattanooga State Community College with an Associates of Applied Science degree in Dental Hygiene. She is certified to administer nitrous oxide as well as local anesthesia, and is passionate about educating patients regarding ways that they can improve their oral health. When she’s not in the office, you can find her practicing the harp and piano for her next event, teaching music lessons, reading, and spending time with her family.

Yuri, Registered Dental Assistant and Spanish Translator

Yuri joined the Today’s Dental team in 2020. She became part of our team shortly after graduating from Chattanooga Technical College with her Associates of Applied Science. As our office translator, she is a native Spanish speaker and fluent in English. Helping the Hispanic community feel welcome and right at home with no language barrier. She’s lived in Dayton all her life and has grown up with three brothers. In her spare time she loves , hiking, going on beach trips, coffee shops, white water rafting, and playing pickleball!

Rhonda, Expanded Function Dental Assistant

Rhonda started with Today’s Dental in the fall of 2023. She received her AS in Dental Assisting from CSTCC, then continued on to receive her BS from Bryan College. From there , she went on to receive her EFDA license through the University of TN in Memphis. With over 23 years of dental experience, she is dedicated to ensuring a comfortable and positive dental experience for every patient .
