What to Expect During a Dental Checkup
During your dental checkup, we will typically offer four main services:
- Examination – we carefully examine oral and facial structures screening for the early warning signs of health concerns like tooth decay, gum disease, TMJ dysfunction, teeth grinding and clenching (bruxism), and oral cancer.
- Diagnostics – we use digital x-rays and images to get a clear picture of your smile’s current level of health, and we can share these images with you to help you better understand areas for concern and treatment recommendations.
- Cleanings – one of our skilled hygienists will carefully remove plaque and tartar buildup from even the hardest reach parts of your smile. They can also offer guidance to improve your at-home care routine, answer any questions you have, and recommend the best oral hygiene products for your unique smile.
